Fresh Pumpkin Pie Ingredients.
Hey all! Well as we continue our approach to the Thanksgiving feast, I must say I stand corrected. They all assure me that fresh pumpkin pie filling is the absolute best way to go. Apparently folks are convinced that you really can tell the difference when all of the pumpkin pie ingredients are fresh and especially when the pumpkin pie filling is fresh. I'm much too busy (okay, lazy) for this so you all are on your own on this one. My experts tell me to go for the cheesecloth too as this will help out with the straining. Go figure. Please let me know your experiences with this. But if you are in a pinch or pressed for time, the canned pumpkin puree still will make for a very tasty pumpkin pie.
